Edgbaston College was founded on the belief that close, individual attention can significantly improve both academic performance and future opportunities. That belief continues to shape how we teach, assess and guide every student.
Weekly assessments, regular mock examinations and individual feedback help students understand their progress, address gaps early and keep improving.
Classes are capped at 10 and typically have seven students, giving teachers time to understand each student’s needs and respond closely to their progress.
Our teachers combine subject expertise with a clear understanding of each student’s progress, focusing their teaching where it can make the greatest difference.
Each student receives considered guidance on subject choices, university applications and career pathways, shaped around their strengths and ambitions.
Founded In
2015
Edgbaston College was established in 2015. Strong academic outcomes and personal recommendations from students and families helped the College build its reputation and grow steadily, while retaining the individual approach on which it was founded.
As the College has grown, it has remained family-owned. This has helped us preserve a welcoming, close-knit environment in which every student is known and families can speak openly with teachers and senior staff.
Our open-door approach allows questions to be raised early, progress to be discussed clearly and guidance to remain personal.
Over the years, Edgbaston College students have progressed to leading universities, including Oxford and Cambridge, and to highly competitive courses such as Medicine and Dentistry.
These outcomes reflect the principles on which the College was founded: high expectations, close individual attention and guidance shaped around each student’s future.
