Good Subject Combinations

For most science and engineering courses at top universities, both A level Physics and Maths are required, with A level Further Maths also preferred alongside this combination. Biology and Chemistry are also commonly studied with Physics, especially if you are thinking of pursuing a science degree at university

Future Prospects

Physics can develop your understanding of core topics relevant to many areas of science, such as astronomy, computational and experimental physics. Furthermore, a Physics qualification can build transferrable skills, such as problem solving, reasoning and data analysis, which are valued by all employers. Therefore, studying Physics gives you an advantage in most science careers, such as engineering, research and even in Medicine/Dentistry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Physics be completed in one year?

Yes. This is typically done when:

  • Students who are retaking their A-Levels
  • Students who wish to complete the course in one intensive year

Do you offer other exam boards for Retake students?

We try our best to cater for all student needs. Please contact admissions for further information.
